IntelePeer announced that its AppworX Application Platform has received a Best of Show Award in the Best Service Provider Solution category at Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC)’s INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference and EXPO East 2009 in Miami.
IntelePeer’s AppworX open communications platform for applications and the company’s carrier-grade network make it easy to roll out high-quality interactive voice, video, SMS, data and other rich media services that boost productivity while reducing telecommunications and operational expenses. A communications-as-a-service (CaaS) offering, IntelePeer AppworX is ideal for increasing collaboration among business application users, fostering closer connections with customers and introducing communications-enabled business processes that drive efficiency and deliver cost savings. IntelePeer can ensure high-quality service through the company’s redundant network peering grid infrastructure that already handles billions of voice minutes per year and its direct connections with more than 50 service providers around the globe.
“The INTERNET TELEPHONY Best of Show Award confirms how the industry recognizes the value of the IntelePeer AppworX Application Platform, which allows our customers to rapidly bring innovative Voice 2.0 services to market,” said Charles Studt, vice president of product management for IntelePeer. “Our communications-as-a-service model eliminates the cost and development time needed to roll out carrier-grade voice or rich media communications services that also reduce ongoing operational expenses, which is critical for our customers in today’s economy.”
“Outstanding companies like IntelePeer, with its award-winning solutions, help to validate ITEXPO’s status as the leading forum in the communications industry,” said TMC President and Conference Chairman Rich Tehrani. “Service providers, enterprise buyers, developers and resellers come to ITEXPO because they know they’ll find solutions from innovative companies like IntelePeer that can help their businesses today.”
The INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO Best of Show Awards recognize innovative products and solutions that were featured in the Exhibit Hall during the event. This designation serves to highlight the technological achievement and creative product features that set these winners apart from the rest of the crowd. INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine’s editorial staff evaluated the pre-show nominations and met with vendors to inspect and review the displayed products on the first day of the EXPO. A full list of the winners is posted on TMC’s Web site at www.tmcnet.com.
